ImageFollowing an agreement celebrated by the Associação dos Macaenses (ADM), APOMAC, APIM, the International Institute of Macau, and Casa de Portugal, the five institutions, along with the Portuguese School of Macau, have organised the St. John´s Fair in order to celebrate the traditional Day of the City, 24th of June. Image On the 16th of March, following the public presentation of the Thematic Dictionary of the Lusophone World and a week of activities dedicated to the study of a common culture in the Lusophone World, the IIM and the Association of Lusophone Culture have signed a cooperation agreement. Image • The First Meeting among Chinese and Portuguese-speaking Poets took place in the International Institute of Macau (IIM), from October 7 to 11, 2006. The initiative was co-organised by the IIM, by Jorge Álvares Foundation and by the National Centre for Culture (based in Lisbon, Portugal), with the support of the Organizing Committee of the First Lusophone Games, the Gulbenkian Foundation and UNESCO Centre of Macau Foundation. The meeting was also part of the cultural programme of the First Lusophone Games. Read More
