António M. Pacheco Jorge da Silva

Description:

First edition dedicated to the III Meeting of the Macanese Communities in Macau, in November 2007. The preface reads: “This pictorial history of the Portuguese community in Hong Kong is long overdue.   It is a part of our history as well as a stroll down memory lane of the good, and some not so good, days the Portuguese community enjoyed in the British colonial enclave.  It is a record of the people and the environment they lived in for their descendants to visualise, cherish, and pass on to future generations…” António M.
