「筆者偏愛以“語言的一品鍋”形容土生士語，它色香味 俱全，有獨特的美味，只要用心便可細味當中不同元素 的味道。土生土語是澳門孕育出來的語言，它以葡語為 基礎，糅合粵語、葡語、馬來語、西班牙語等，經過多 過世紀後，成為澳門獨有的語言。
《來一點士生土語》於2016年發佈第一張學字卡，以中 文、葡語和英語介紹土生士語詞彙。發布至今七年多， 筆者決定重新整理，伴隨解說、例句和發音示範，集結 成書，獻給希望了解澳門的您。讓我們一起認識這甜美 的語言，攜手展開學習旅程，來一點土生土語吧！」

«Sempre adorei descrever o Patuá como um "caldeirão de línguas", onde se pode saborear o sabor de cada ingrediente individualmente, mas ao mesmo tempo obter um sabor único de toda a mistura da sopa. Patuá, ou "língu maquista", é uma língua distinta de Macau. Influenciado por línguas como o português, o cantonês, o malaio e o espanhol, surgiu após séculos e gerações de intercâmbios interculturais.
"Unchinho di Língu Maquista" lançou o seu primeiro cartão de estudo (ou flashcard) apresentando, desde 2016, os vocabulários de Patuá em chinês, português e inglês. Chegou a hora de compilar esses flashcards num livro, com explicações, exemplos e guias de pronúncia, como presente para todos aqueles que querem conhecer Macau. Vamos aprender esta bela língua de Macau e, juntos, embarcar na jornada de aprendizagem do Patuá passo-a-passo.»

«I have always loved to describe Patuá as a "hotpot of languages", where one can savor the taste of each individual ingredient, but at the same time, get a unique taste of all the blend from the soup. Patuá, or líng maquista, is Macau's unique language. Influenced by languages such as Portuguese, Cantonese, Malay and Spanish, it came to existence after centuries and generations of of intercultural exchanges.
Unchinho di Língu Maquista (Patuá Bit by Bit) launched its first flashcard introducing Patuá vocabularies in Chinese, Portuguese and English in 2016.
